Rev Stephen France – RIP

It is with deep sadness that we pass on the news that Revd Stephen France died on the 1st September. Stephen was a valued member of the WATCH National Committee for a number of years and served as Vice Chair. His civil service background meant that he was excellent at presenting papers and organising WATCH business. He was invaluable in our response to the Philip Mawer report. Those of us who served with him appreciated his support, friendship and humour, as well as his commitment to the work of WATCH. Liz and their son Toby are in our prayers at this difficult time. We hope to have information about his funeral in due course.
