Kent lectures in Biblical Studies event – The Scandal of a male Bible

Professor David J A Clines is one of the most creative and influential biblical scholars in the world. He has recently donated his personal library to the University of Kent. Originally from Sydney, Australia, David Clines he spent his career in the University of Sheffield, including as Professor and Head of the Department of Biblical Studies. It is a measure of his distinction that he was President of the US-based Society of Biblical Literature in 2009, the first person from outside North America to serve the Society in that role.

The venue for this event is the Templeman Lecture Theatre, Templeman Library, University of Kent, Canterbury, Kent, CT2 7NU

Followed by drinks reception.
